Elder Scrolls Roleplaying - The Rise of the Fallen

It is the year 04E25 - the dawning of a new age; as a red sun rises above a broken Tamriel. The Dread War, as it would come to be called, had ravaged the once strong Empire; leaving turmoil and chaos in its wake. For five years, the dead had walked among the living; this victorious day should have been glorious – but in the silent aftermath of the battle that had won back Tamriel’s freedom, stood a lone figure; seething with indescribable hatred towards the Empire she had once loved and respected more than anything.

The figure’s eye caught the glint of a blade, and she stooped to pick it up. The corrupted Blade of Virtue – the blade that had turned the tide – had lain amongst the ashes – and as though dictated by fate – found itself picked up by the one person no one would ever suspect of treason... The Champion of Cyrodiil.

Tamriel is cast into turmoil with the end of The Dread War. The Empire is leaderless and the Council desperately tries to save what is left. The sons of the now-deceased Emperor Alexander Reeve argue and plot amongst themselves. The Guilds all vie for power... and the common citizens – the majority of the country – stand behind the Hero they love and respect; The Champion.

It becomes crystal clear that someone must take control; lest Tamriel falls into the wrong hands...

This text-based roleplay is based off of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and is set within Cyrodiil; 25 years after the Oblivion Crisis. Knowledge of Elder Scrolls and/or experience playing Oblivion is of course, a major plus and adds to the roleplay experience, but is not required unless you intend to play a canon.
