8/3: Activity Check Update and Rules Clarification

To All,

We have completed the July activity check based on the criteria of 5 posts / point / character as was detailed in the following the announcements here and here. We have come to realize, however, that these rules were never added to the official character and posting rules chapter. This has been fixed, and now the activity requirements are documented in character rule #1 and posting rule #3.

Every post is appreciated and helps the game, and things have been moving well since the hiatus! We all want to make sure things keep going along this way, and in order to do that, we need our characters, especially our majors, actively plotting and posting. If you need to check how many posts you are expected to be doing, for each point a character is worth, it’s 5 posts/month. Here is the character list to check on points: CLICK

In order to be fair and consistent in how we apply the activity rules, we have decided on the following:

As per rule Posting Rule #2, any player with zero posts during the month will be considered inactive and removed from the members list
Any character with zero posts will be considered unneeded and removed from character list, the profile archived or placed in adoptables, and open for another player to pick up.
Any character that does not meet the activity requirements will be placed on ‘alert’ status
Any character on alert that does not pass the next month will be removed from character list, the profile archived or placed in adoptables, and open for another player to pick up.
Two and Three point character must pass at least four out of every six months of checks
Characters created during the month get that month free and are marked 'new'

Please note that this month we will not archive any profiles, with the exception of those players who have not posted in a month. All players will be receiving a letter noting the characters that missed the 5 posts/point mark in July. (Unless you passed them all!)

In order to search for your posts/month, go to your character’s profile and click on ‘statistics’. Choose “Find all posts by [account name]” Then count.

Once you've read this if you could just reply with some lovely message telling the staff so, that would be great, as often these announcements get missed. <3
